Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) is a Washington, DC based trade association which represents nearly 1,600 private and public for-profit companies – ranging from small, family-owned businesses to multi-national corporations - operating at more than 6,000 facilities in the United States and 30 countries worldwide. Our members are manufacturers and processors, brokers and industrial consumers of scrap commodities, including ferrous and nonferrous metals, paper, electronics, rubber, plastics, glass and textiles. ISRI's associate members include equipment and service providers to the scrap recycling industry. Manufacturers and sellers of equipment and services—such as shredders, balers, cranes, cargo transporters, computer systems and more - find value in promoting the scrap recycling industry through their membership in ISRI.

safe and sustainable reuse and recycling of used electronics through consensus-driven standards.
SERI is the housing body and ANSI-accredited Standards Development Organization for the R2 Standard.

Illinois Recycling Association (IRA), a not-for-profit organization, was formed in 1980 as the Illinois Association of Recycling Centers, and changed its name to IRA in 1990. It currently has 250 members consisting of municipal, county, and state recycling coordinators, businesses, haulers and processors, not-for-profit organizations, consultants, and manufacturers of recycled-content products.

Mission Statement - The Illinois Recycling Association's mission is to encourage the responsible use of resources by promoting Waste Reduction, Re-Use, and Recycling.

The Association is dedicated to providing a forum for networking, training and information exchange. ILCSWMA is proud to serve over 80 member organizations throughout the State.

The Elgin Area Chamber is an organization that promotes a business environment favorable for upcoming and existing businesses to flourish in the Elgin area.  With over 700 members, they hold successful business meetings with guest speakers and opportunities for networking with other chamber members. The Elgin Area Chamber is a great resource for information and marketing opportunities and also provides job openings within the businesses of chamber members.

 

CLCOC_memberAlthough chartered in 1940, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce dates back to 1908 when a group of citizens gathered to help their businesses in the community to grow.  Their purpose was to “ Work for the greatest good for the greatest number of people in Crystal Lake.”   This still holds true today as the chamber holds weekly meetings and events to network, help others with their latest business challenges, and share in their successes.
