Special E-Waste Recycling Event

Now that summer is getting into gear, Elgin Recycling is hosting special e-waste recycling events at each of the company’s four locations. The events will take place Saturday 6/1 & 6/8, and will be open from 8am to 1pm.
EVENT 6/1 & 6/8, 8am - 1pm at ALL ER Locations
During the events, all electronics will be accepted, including televisions and computer monitors. Recycling fees do apply for televisions and monitors; a discounted recycling fee of $15 for those under 21 inches, and $25 for those 21 inches and over. To determine size and recycling fee, measure screens diagonally from inside corner to inside corner. Discount does not apply to wood console and rear projection TVs.
Elgin Recycling also accept and pays for all types of cell phones and tablets within the company’s mobile device recycling platform, call them with the make and model of your old device to receive a quote.
Recycling electronics rather than throwing them in the trash bin is a great way to help conserve the Earth’s natural resources and avoid air and water pollution, as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
